Great-Grandmother Was Possessed By A Ouija Board

Okay so I've always been quite a strong believer of all paranormal-related things, my whole family on my mothers side are psychic in some way or another. My sister, myself, my mother, my aunt, and my nan all have had psychic dreams ever since we can remember, my great-grandmother was possessed by a Ouija Board for about 10 years, and my family must be some sort of attraction to the paranormal because there is not one person on my mother's side who has not witnessed a paranormal happening before.

I've seen strange things before, especially in my great-grandmothers house where I grew up as a child, I slept in the one room that wasn't warm, that had a strange sense about it that wasn't normal, and I often saw shadows and heard unexplained sounds in that room.

However, when I was thirteen and moved to a 2 bedroom house in Hayes, Middlesex, with my sister, her boyfriend (who, might I add are also my foster-parents), and soon-to-be my niece too. On the very first night we spent in the house, my aunt had stayed the night to help us get settled. She and my sister's boyfriend heard strange noises coming from the bathroom, somebody running the taps and having a bath, then getting out and you could literally hear them rubbing themselves with the towel. I didn't exactly hear it as it was that night, but I do remember having a rather strange but vivid dream in which I was staying at a friends house, and I stood outside her bathroom listening to her having a bath, running the taps and also listening to her drying herself with a towel. It was strange that I had that dream, yet everybody else except my sister heard it for real. We joked that we had a ghost with OCD, but we didn't seriously believe our house was haunted. The next night, my sister's boyfriend heard footsteps coming from my room, and he went upstairs thinking I was sleepwalking as I am a strong sleepwalker, however he heard outside the door, a child's voice, singing  some sort of Victorian nursery rhyme. He opened the door, and he saw nothing but me, fast asleep.

Things got much worse, but the worst thing is, 90% of the paranormal activity happened in my own bedroom. We began hearing voices, constant banging, footsteps and crying. One night my sister had a very vivid dream about a 14 year old Victorian girl, and we suspected this had something to do with our ghostly encounters. Doors opened and shut themselves, we saw objects move in front of our eyes. then one night in early November, I was on my way downstairs for a glass of water when I felt a hand push me, and I fell about 6 stairs onto the floor. My aunt stayed over at Christmas, and she had a dream she was being lifted out of bed. She woke up and there she was, about 3 feet above the bed. 2 days later, my cousin who is a practicing medium, stayed over. Crazy things started to happen as soon as he came into the house. We heard screams and thumps, furniture moved before our eyes, and we saw a great deal of orbs captured in pictures as we took them. We then all saw a figure behind my sister (in my room), a shortish man. We later found out that before the house was built 8 years ago, there was nothing around but a large country house, around the time of 1850 a family lived there, however the man was a psychotic schizophrenic, who shot his wife, and then tortured and sexually abused his three daughters (aged 14, 3, and a baby) until they died of shock and torture. Another 8 nearby houses were haunted by the same freaky family!

Since my cousin left, the hauntings haven't stopped, but they don't worry me as much. I've seen the man watching me through the mirror twice, and all the paranormal activity still occurs from time to time, but my cousin has taught me one and only lesson of how to cope: be scared of the living, not the dead.

  139. okay so i am sitting here with my best friend she and i looked up the Ouija board on Wikipedia because i did not feel like explaining it to her after reading that article we looked up "Ouija board stories" and we found this. one time i had played with a Ouija board and the lights started flickering off and on (you couldn't turn them off and on inside the house) (web were in the garage)and the locked cabinet locks flew across the room and the doors were opening and closing for a bout 20 seconds and the lights stopped at off. for some reason whenever you ask them the age they died they go psycho. trust me i have used a Ouija board more than once.

  146. Well I have one and nothing bad has ever happened to me. I have had it about two years! U really have to know what ur doing b4 u actually deal with them! They are dangerous and known to cause chaos! Never heard or saw anything in my home. I'm blessed to not have experience any of those strange things.

    3. My advice, don't ever use one. I've used different ones over multiple years, in different locations, with different people and all have ended badly. It's best you just stick to reading stories about them.

  148. This was a very insightful story. I have used a Ouija board many times and have not had a bad experience yet. I have always believed in the supernatural and believe that some of these horrid encounters might be true. I'm also a writer and believe that some could possibly be false. For those whom wish to use the board, I say have fun but be careful. For those who don't then don't, your choice.

  149. I'm seeing the same trend of experiences I've noticed for quite some time: Some have experienced "nothing", but for everyone that HAS experienced something, it always seems to be negative. To "Anonymous" who's curious about using a Ouija Board. My advice is to stay away from them. There are more wholesome and healthy ways to get in touch with the spiritual, and if you just go to the Source, you'll have a healthy line to 3rd Heaven.

  151. I hope this isn't redundant, since my post did not seem to publish. The trend with peoples' experiences with Ouija Boards, not just with this thread or website, seems to be either "nothing happened" or "my worst nightmares came true." To the "Anonymous" who's curious about using one of these things: Please don't. I've never touched one and don't plan on ever doing so. There are more wholesome ways to get in touch with and nourish your spiritual self. Seek out the Father of Lights...The Creator. You might not get the cheap shortcuts to "power" you would by contacting the lower spirits, but you will build a healthy line to 3rd Heaven.

  153. I read this after doing a board and its freaky! To the anonymous that wants to do one don't! Its the worst thing ever if you receive a bad ghost, and you can't change it ..

  154. So creepy never touching one i also wonder if online ones are bad too? or?

  155. You people are funny. I've used an ouija board lots of times and am a practicing psychic, and only have had good/neutral experiences.
I've even walked right past a cloaked man in my room before, but all they do is watch.
You do not use ouija boards for FUN, it is not a game. Fucking with the astral realm is no game, and that's why only experienced should use them, because you have to clean your aura, and the room/house before and after if you feel like you'd get a negative experience. It's not just some board game it's real. And when WEAK AND UNEXPERIENCED people use them, OFTEN bad or angry spirits will connect themselves to you, which if you were experienced in magick and meditation you'd know you'd have to detach them from your aura.

You won't have bad experiences if your experienced and know what your dealing with. That's why it's not a game.

I mean being unknowing of anything and using an ouija board is just asking to get these annoying spirits to bother you.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. i agree with you. i am very curious as to paranormal events and i have been raised my whole life with people who are wiccan and native American or spiritual in some way and they have always taught me to cleanse myself and my area when having a feeling of uncomfortableness or fear. if you don't want bad spirits to come to you, you should protect yourself. no matter what religion or lack there of you should defend yourself from harmful things.

  156. My best friend and I played with my Ouija board. Well used since Ouija board is an object to be taken seriously. We have been haunted for a very long time. Shadow people, demons, other spirits. So yeah, they have recently been harder on me I believe because I can sense them watching me and following me through my house and outside. So if you want to use an Ouija board, you could either A. bless the board, B. Use holy water, C. Draw a cross on the board or wear a cross on you, Or just talk to demons and good ghost, beware though, ghosts can read your mind and pretend to be someone else, and make sure to ask if its from the sun or moon because that is the one thing they can't lie about...and whatever you do, DON'T LET IT MAKE A FIGURE EIGHT A.K.A AN INFINITY SYMBOL!AND DON'T.LET.THEM.INTO.OUR.WORLD!

    1. I have just used a ouija board and me and a girlfriend contacted a dead spirit supposedly bound to my residence.when i asked it why it said its body and it told me its body is in the basement in a covered manhole. It also said it was a nigerian boy named ugcpe that was killed by teachers that didnt like him and i asked why he said he murdered three white kids who constantly bullied him. This being also said it was thirteen at the time of his death in 1946 and he knew who murdered him. The messed up thing is he said police knew this but didnt even bother to look into this. So he got shot and killed in the home i live in today and theres actually covered up bulletholes in the walls that we inspected

  157. scary shit where I live in Cape Town South Africa. You wont even fuck with that stuff. These spirits are not good even if they come across to be friendly. My sister sees these things. I'm a trumpeter and play gigs weekends but mostly at night and whenever I arrive at night she would tell me to turn by back before she will open the door. It never bothered me until this one night. I came from playing at Zula bar about 3 the morning. As I walked I felt someone whipping me over my leg, I just felf this burning sensation. I turned around swearing but there was no one. When I got home my sister looked through the window shouting" go back where you came from beast!" I waited turned my back and went in back to front. she then told me I was followed home by 2 demons. the next morning I had a purple blues mark on my leg like I was whipped something. now every year august this mark comes out. these things are not from God so please don't fuck with the dead....and if you cant see them, they don't see you.....

  160. Hi! Recently, me and my family at 4 have had some recent unexplained happenings, both in the house, and outside the house. We've had doors that have been opened, pillows thrown across the room, drying machine getting turned on ESC. I also hear these strange, like, "digging/scratching" noises outside my house, 2-3 times a week. I've never had any experiences, but i've been home alone. That is pretty scary in this house. And whenever i look out of my window, i see this orb/flash just flying right past where the digging noise comes from. When im writing this, i also hear that sound, but im terrified to look outside. This usally happens at nighttime.

  161. If you look at clouds, you can make out different shapes. If your mind think about a horse, the clouds will appear as a horse. If you assume as a human face, then it will look like a face. This is how it happens with ghost. If you think there is someone behind you/watching you, then there will be someone behind/watching you. Blame your weak mind for this. A weak minded person will experience. Trust me Friends, There is no ghost or demon. It's you mind which is lying to you. Be Brave.Dont beleive in all this Bullshit. Take Care :)

  164. Was addicted for 6 months..knew I was pregnant, knew my dad's computer password and my best friends name from grade 10. It used to drain me and I would sleep really hard after doing it for the whole night..it tends to drain females over men. I had one that was my friend the whole time..but I had someone called MOM that would flicker the lights and quote the bible...I used a shot glass and pieces of paper..anything will do.
I also contacted a Jamaican accent spirit in an old university classroom by drawing a Ouija on the chalk board and using a sponge to direct. I was able to do it with or without a partner and I liked doing it alone..never got possessed..I even asked for it to posses me..nothing happened.

  165. I was wondering if you ever considered changing the structure of your blog?

Its very well written; I love what youve got to say.
But maybe you could a little more in the way of content so people could connect with it better.
Youve got an awful lot of text for only having one or two pictures.
Maybe you could space it out better?
